Bosch dishwasher error codes
Bosch dishwashers show each fault in two ways. Older control boards display a short code such as E15, newer ones show a longer one such as E3100 for exactly the same problem. If your display shows four digits, look for the short code in the second column: the repair is identical.

Stop the machine if you see these
E15, E16 mean water or electrical trouble rather than a blockage. Turn the tap off, unplug the machine and read the page before running another cycle.

Things that look like faults but are not
These stop people mid-wash and send them looking for a repair. None of them needs one.
H01
- Not a fault. The delay start timer is on and the machine is waiting to begin, usually because the button was pressed by accident. Cancel it by holding the start button, or open and close the door and select the programme again.
- A tap or water symbol
- The machine is telling you it cannot get water, most often because the supply valve under the sink is closed or only part open. Check the tap before assuming a fault.
